Description

Probiotics are beneficial bacteria that support digestion, the immune system, vaginal and urinary tract health, and produce B vitamins. The most common types of probiotics are bifidobacteria and lactobacilli. Within each type are many strains that confer health benefits when present in sufficient amounts.

The human gut is home to over 100 trillion microorganisms. This number is important because it is by large quantities of probiotics that they may prevent the overgrowth of yeast and pathogenic bacteria in the microbiome.

Antibiotics, birth control pills, chlorinated water and other factors can deplete the probiotic cultures that live in your gut and are vital for good health.

Probiotics can impact every aspect of health and guard against nearly every kind of illness. They protect us primarily by limiting populations of pathogens that cause inflammation which makes us more vulnerable to disease. They inhibit pathogens through competitive exclusion, disabling pathogen mobility, producing direct bacteria inhibiting factors, and strengthening general immunity.

PureBiotics™ formulas are the result of over 35 years of research. The probiotic strain counts (depending upon the formula) range from 12 to 15 and provide a minimum of 30 billion up to 100 billion living cultures per capsule to inhibit major pathogens and depletion as listed above. They are delivered in delayed-release capsules that protect the probiotics against stomach acids, packed in amber glass bottles with desiccants to guard against light, moisture, and air.

Each capsule of PureBiotics™ Maxima provides at least 100 billion total probiotic cultures from 15 different strains to support immune health, healthy digestion, and a healthy microbiome.

The most helpful probiotic supplements are those that inhibit the greatest number of pathogens in the greatest number of ways.
